We have travel dates.  I don't think I have ever wanted to leave town so badly before.  April 12th we will be heading to Ethiopia.  If everything goes well, we will return April 19th.  One of the many praises we have right now is the plane tickets.  We were told that they would be $1500-$3000 per person and we were able to get them for $1709.30!  Cameron's one way ticket was supposed to be $1000-$1500 and we were able to get his for $1046.65!  This is amazing because we were told that airline tickets were going up due to the rise in gasoline.  Praise the Lord!

We would like to announce that we have gotten thru the court system and he is officially ours!!!  His name is Cameron Henok Herdklotz!  Our boys are so excited...I wish you could have seen them

We hope to travel in April but you never know.  A special thank you to everyone who has asked, prayed, encouraged us thru this journey.  This is a huge step.  Praise the Lord!

Well, its official.  I am terrible at keeping up with the xanga site.  To those of you who are faithful to check on us...thank you.  Here is the latest.

We have accepted a referral for a little 5 year old boy.  To those of you who are disappointed that it wasn't a girl...we are thrilled  At this moment we are waiting for a court date that was supposed to take approximately 1 week.  Tomorrow will be 4 weeks!  I am learning that time frames don't mean much when it comes to adoption.  Our case worker is wonderful and keeps us very well informed.  Once the court date happens and he becomes legally ours then we wait for another call (2-6 weeks) and we have 7-10 days to get to Ethiopia.

Our prayer is that we can get him soon.  One being that we just want to have him here but also it would be helpful to get him established before the craziness of camp starts (May).  The other prayer request is that the money would all come in. Thank you for walking thru this journey with us.  We love you all.

Alot has happened since the last entry.  God has provided the rest of the money for us to turn in our dossier!  We did find out that our Power of Attorney needs to be re-done and that will take a couple of weeks.  Once we get that back, we will be able to turn all our paperwork in to Washington.  We will now wait for a referral.  Thru the last couple of weeks it has been a roller coaster of emotions (I'm just sparing you all the drama ) but it has been a good for us to remind ourselves that God is good ALL the time!  That seems to be the theme this week!

A special thanks to everyone who has been asking how things are going.  We appreciate the love and concern.  We hope to introduce you to someone soon!
